Energy Saving Multiple Effect Evaporation System
Hanpu’s Multiple Effect Evaporation (MEE) line delivers high steam economy, stable production, and consistent product quality for chemical brines, effluent treatment, and salt/alkali applications. By cascading effects under vacuum, secondary vapor from one effect heats the next, cutting fresh-steam demand and total OPEX. Optional TVR/MVR modules further enhance energy performance.

How the Energy-Saving Cascade Works
  1. Feed & Preheat: Metered feed enters the preheater and first-effect heater.
  2. Effect 1: Live steam heats the first effect; generated vapor becomes the heating medium for Effect 2.
  3. Effects 2–N: Each subsequent effect runs at lower pressure/temperature, using the previous effect’s vapor for boiling.
  4. Condensation & Recovery: Final vapors condense in the condenser; clean condensate can be reused. Non-condensables are removed by the vacuum set.
  5. Crystallization (Optional): Concentrated liquor flashes or routes to a vacuum crystallizer for salt recovery; mother liquor recycles to boost yield.
