Counter-current washing and continuous pusher-centrifuge dewatering, designed for edible and industrial salt quality targets.

Overview

The line integrates raw salt pre-crushing, screw and agitated washing with counter-current stages, continuous pusher-centrifuge dewatering, and hot-air or fluidized-bed drying. Downstream modules provide in-line screening and packing. The layout targets stable purity, low moisture and efficient energy use for lake and sea salt.

Process Flow
1) Pre-crushing

Reduce bulk salt to a stable feed size for effective washing and classification.

2) Multi-stage Counter-Current Washing

Combine screw and agitated washing to remove insoluble and soluble impurities, improving purity before dewatering.

3) Continuous Dewatering

Two-stage pusher centrifuge reduces cake moisture and cuts drying energy. Typical feature humidity in cake less than 4% under rated conditions.

4) Drying & Screening

Hot-air or fluidized-bed drying to target moisture, then screening to specified grain size prior to packing.
