Q1: How does an MVR evaporator improve lithium recovery compared to solar ponds?           
MVR is a controlled, enclosed process. Unlike solar ponds where lithium can be lost to leakage or co-precipitation with other salts due to uncontrolled evaporation, our system allows for precise concentration and selective crystallization. This dramatically increases the recovery rate of the target lithium salts.            
Q2: What is the main advantage over traditional multi-effect evaporation (MEE)?       
The main advantage is energy efficiency. MVR recycles its own vapor, consuming only a small amount of electricity to power the compressor. MEE requires a continuous, large supply of fresh steam from a boiler. In most locations, the operating cost of our MVR system is significantly lower than a traditional MEE system for the same duty.     
Q3: Can your system handle brines with high magnesium content (high Mg/Li ratio)?      
Yes. Our solution is a combination of process design and equipment. The MVR evaporator is the concentration core, but it is always preceded by a pre-treatment stage.
